Originally from Tel Aviv, Arik Levy ran a graphic design studio (and a surf shop) in Israel before departing for Europe, launching what has become a celebrated international career in design. With a degree in Industrial Design from the Art Center of Europe, Levy is known for a signature blend of technical skill and aesthetic sensibility. Now based in Paris, he is a founding partner of the multidisciplinary design studio L Design where he works on projects in industrial, lighting, furniture and accessory design, as well as interior architecture and set design. Levy’s clients include Baccarat, Vitra, Ligne Roset, and Lanvin. He shows his work at trade shows and exhibitions around the world, and his designs can be found in the permanent collections of institutions including the Centre George Pompidou in Paris, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and the Museum of Modern Art in New York. |
